Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education:            Preferred: High school diploma or GED
Experience:          Preferred: 1-3 years construction experience or equivalent

Skills:
1. Able to safely use hand tools.
2. Possess basic carpentry skills.
3. Ability to keep accurate records.
4. Desire to work with low-income individuals.
5. Ability to lift heavy objects, crawl in small spaces and climb ladders.
6. Willing to work in undesirable work conditions when necessary.
7. General knowledge of Standard Work Specifications (SWS) Standards.

General Requirements:
1.  Must provide US employment eligibility verification
2. Must possess or be able to obtain a US issued Social Security Card.
3. Must meet agency nepotism policy
4. Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
5. Must be willing to perform all assigned tasks to benefit the agency and its clients.
6. Physical demands: frequently required to talk, hear, smell; and use hands and fingers, handle or feel. Regularly sit, stoop, kneel, occasionally lift, or move up to 100 lbs. Required to have good close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
7. Complete and clear background screening(s) and drug testing (including random drug testing).

Essential Functions:
1. Cares for and maintains all supplies and equipment, including the weatherization vehicles.
2. Loads and unloads materials for jobs.
3. Keep track of materials and tools while on the job and reload at the end of the day.
4. Assists Crew Leader with documenting materials used on each job through use of sign out sheets.
5. Works cooperatively with other members of the crew to achieve maximum production.
6. Maintains a safe work environment including the use of proper personal protective equipment.
7. Safeguards tools and tool bag by using tools properly, inspecting tools, and reporting damages and losses promptly.
8. Attends work-related training.
9. Obtains and maintains work related certifications as instructed by the Housing Director, including but not limited to: OSHA Compliance Certificate.
10. Place material orders, record receipts and pick up materials through an established purchase order system.
11. Carries out approved appropriate measures as indicated in the work order.
12. Follows instruction provided by the Crew Leader to ensure that all jobs are completed in an efficient and effective manner.
13. Communicates work-related problems to supervisor.
14. Assists in ensuring that the Weatherization warehouse is a clean, neat and safe environment.
15. Follows all OSHA and Lead Safe Worker requirements.
16. Regularly reviews Standard Work Specifications (SWS) Standards.
17. Performs other duties that benefit the program as assigned by the Weatherization Crew Leader.
